Free 'Caregiver Day Out' Event In Atlanta Nov. 30
In honor of National Family Caregiver Month, a free event with brunch, massages and more will honor caregivers in Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA — In honor of National Family Caregiver Month, Season of HOPE and the Black Healers Collective are co-hosting “Caregiver Day Out,” a free event for all family caregivers Nov. 30. The 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. event is meant to give caregivers an opportunity to relax and connect with others in similar situations.
There will be a catered brunch, massages, art therapy, mindfulness exercises and self-care goodies. The event will take place at The Brainery ATL, 1 Baltimore Place NW, Suite 140.
“Pull back from your everyday responsibilities and connect with others who walk in your shoes,” the event organizers posted online. “Caregivers are often times the ‘forgotten heroes.’ You’re busy taking care of loved ones that you forget to take care of yourself.”
