Fulton County Board Of Health Closing To Public: GA Coronavirus

The Fulton County Board of Health said Wednesday that some facilities will close and the remainder will require strict safety rules.

ATLANTA, GA — The Fulton County Board of Health said Wednesday that it will close five facilities to the public to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. A spokesperson tells WXIA that this is to "protect the health and safety of clients and staff."

The following Fulton County Board of Health facilities are closed to the public:

  • Adamsville Regional Health Center
  • Center for Health and Rehabilitation
  • North Fulton Service Center
  • Neighborhood Union Health Center
  • Oak Hill Child, Adolescent and Family Health Center

All clients seeking service at other locations must wear a mask before entering the building and they will have their temperatures checked, said health officials.

If anyone refuses either, or displays symptoms of the coronavirus, they will not be allowed in, an organization official tells the news station.
