Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves to address Buckhead Business Association on Thursday

Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves will address the Buckhead Business (BBA) during a breakfast meeting this week.

Eaves will speak at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, at the City Club of Buckhead.

Eaves, a 1984 graduate of Morehouse College, was elected in November 2014 to his third four-year term. Before his tenure on the commission, Eaves was an Atlanta regional manager with the Peace Corps.

During an appearance before the BBA last year, Eaves said education, transportation and economic development topped his list of priorities for the year. Eaves also said he wanted to work with local school systems and technical colleges to help people stay in school, find jobs and be productive members of society.

The BBA holds breakfast meetings at 7:30 a.m. most Thursday mornings at the City Club of Buckhead. Meetings feature a business, political or civic leader as a speaker, and topics usually include leading issues within the Buckhead community and Atlanta as a whole.
