In November’s general election, Willis will face Courtney Kramer, a Republican lawyer who interned in the Trump White House and was involved in Trump’s efforts to reverse his 2020 loss in Georgia, The Washington Post reported.

The other nationally known name on the Georgia ballot is Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who on Tuesday was elected to his first full term since being appointed to the court last year, according to the Associated Press.

Both Willis and McAffee are prominent figures in an election subversion case against former President Donald Trump.

With 37 percent of votes tallied in McAfee's race at 8:10 p.m., he had a huge lead with 83.2% of the votes over challenger Robert Patillo with 16.8%, The New York Times reported.

Georgians held their presidential primary on March 12, which Trump and President Joe Biden both won handily.

After Tuesday, eight presidential nominating contests will remain: Democrats in Idaho, the District of Columbia, Guam and the Virgin Islands, and both parties in Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota, according to the AP.

Early voting in the primary started on April 29 and ended on May 17. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office reported more than 300,000 in-person ballots were accepted during early voting.

The majority of more than 62,00 absentee ballots had been requested, with more than 26,800 of them returned and accepted, according to data from Raffensperger's office.

Those on the ballot for Superior Court judge along with McAfee were:

All candidates for superior court judge are nonpartisan.

If a runoff between any candidates is to be had, it will be held on June 18. The deadline to request an absentee ballot in the runoff is June 7.

Early voting is set to begin on or before June 10 and ends on June 14.

Early voting in runoffs should occur as soon as possible prior to a runoff but not later than the second Monday before the runoff, election officials said.

The general election in Georgia will be held on Nov. 5
