- The Atlanta Police Department is asking the public to help identify suspects of theft at a local gas station. Surveillance video shows two people destroying a coin machine with a crowbar at the Chevron gas station on Lakewood Avenue in southwest Atlanta. APD's Robbery Unit is urging the public to contact them if they recognize the individuals in the video. (CBS46 News Atlanta)
- Fulton County will deliver free, at-home COVID-19 test kits to its residents. The county wants to make COVID-19 tests more accessible with its "Say Yes! COVID Test" program challenge. Residents in certain zip codes can order the tests online for delivery or pick them up at Fulton County Board of Health clinics. (WSB Atlanta)
- FedEx is hosting a National Hiring Day this Thursday at various locations in Atlanta. FedEx is hoping to hire 5,400 new employees in the Atlanta area. (CBS46 News Atlanta)
- The Piedmont Park Conservancy has launched a new safety initiative, the Safe Haven Fund, after the murder of LGBTQ Atlantan Katie Janness in July. (Georgia Voice)
- An Atlanta Journal-Constitution's poll of 842 likely voters in the Atlanta mayor's race identified the frontrunners as Council President Felicia Moore and former mayor Kasim Reed. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
