ATLANTA, GA — College Park’s Gateway Center Arena has officially opened to the public, reported What Now Atlanta. The new arena is located near the airport and the Georgia International Convention Center. Funded by the City of College Park, the 100,000-square-foot arena seats 3,500, but can expand to 5,000 for live concerts and events.
The facility’s layout will allow for a 360-degree view and there’s a food and beverage partnership with CulinAero by Proof of the Pudding, arena officials shared in a news release. The award-winning culinary team will create more than just concession foods. Patrons will have the option of four concourse-level concession stands including Southern Fried, The Hangar, Post Oak BBQ and Tri-Cities Pizza. Select beer and wines will be available at each concession stand, as well as full bar selections at portable bar locations throughout the concourse.
