Georgia’s Zac Brown Lets Go Of Crew, Gets Emotional In Video

Georgia's Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band had to cancel its tour due to the coronavirus risk.

ATLANTA, GA — Georgia singer Zac Brown got emotional in an Instagram video. He shared how the coronavirus has impacted his career. The Zac Brown Band announced last week that it was postponing its Owl Tour because of “increasing public health concerns.”

The cancellation forced Brown to let go of most of his crew, many who’ve been with him for years.

"It was a hard day today. For the last 15 years my crew, who I carry with me out on the road to play my shows and do what we do, I’ve had to let go of about 90 percent,” Brown said.

“We’re late to the game. I’m pretty ashamed of the way that our leadership has handled all of this," Brown said.
