Georgia Weather Forecast: Temps High But Not Dry as Rain on the Way
That arctic freeze may be over, but cloudy days are coming, according to forecasters. Here's your weekend weather look:

ATLANTA, GA -- As the holiday shopping season enters the home stretch, the big question is whether the weekend weather will hold steady as more people venture out and about. We have great news, Atlanta: Things are looking up. And by up we mean the temperatures are going to climb quite a bit. The bad news is that you're going to need an umbrella.
Friday evening you can expect it to be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain late, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature will bottom out at 36 degrees, a few notches above freezing but not warm enough to hit the stores without a jacket.

Saturday will be rather balmy, with a high of 65 degrees. Sunday's high will be near 60 degrees. The chance of rain increases to 40 percent on Saturday and shoots up to 90 percent Sunday with mid-day showers.
By Sunday night, the rain will cause temps to plummet to a seasonal 37 degrees, just in time for you to lay out that big coat for Monday morning.

Friday Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Southeast wind around 10 mph.
Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of rain after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 65. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Saturday Night: A chance of rain before 8pm, then a chance of showers after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Sunday: A chance of showers, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. High near 60. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
Sunday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a chance of showers. Low around 37. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 47.
