Georgia Weather Forecast: Sunny Days Ahead (Believe It Or Not)
In metro Atlanta, see which days will be best to spend outdoors and just how hot it will get after weeks of showers and thunderstorms.

ATLANTA, GA — For a few weeks now, forecasting the weather in metro Atlanta has been less about learning if it was going to rain and more about telling folks when. Storm front after storm front has rolled through north Georgia, soaking the area and making outdoor plans tricky.
If you're tired of getting rained on, this week's forecast offers some sweet relief.
There's not a drop of rain in the forecast this work week, according to the National Weather Service. Every day between now and Friday will be at least mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. The first chance of thunderstorms is a 20 percent chance that will roll in around 9 p.m. Friday night.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 88. Friday night, a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 71.
