Georgia Weather: Rain and Fog, Then Sun and 80 Degrees?!
This week's weather forecast in Georgia will start wet and then get some kind of wonderful.

It is going to take a few days to get there, though. Rain and fog (and a possible thunderstorm) are in the forecast for Monday morning. But the sun starts shining by midweek.

- Drive with lights on low beam. High beams will only be reflected back off the fog and actually impair visibility even more.
- Reduce your speed -- and watch your speedometer. Fog creates a visual illusion of slow motion when you may actually be speeding.
- Listen for traffic you cannot see. Open your window a little, to hear better.
We'll see warm temperatures here, but it'll get cold enough for snow in the Northeast as temperatures cool, according to The Weather Channel.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 1pm and 5pm. Areas of fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 73.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 64.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64.
Sunday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 62.
