Georgia Weather: This Week's Warmer Forecast

It may still be winter on the calendar for a few more weeks, but it'll at least feel like a distant memory.

This week's forecast in Georgia is all about hotter temps.

We'll start the week off in the high 60s before hitting 70 degrees and not looking back all week.

The forecast isn't all good news. We'll have sunny skies for much of the week, but clouds — and the chance for showers — rolls in by Friday.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 72. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 74.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 72.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 72.

Sunday: A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71.
