Georgia's Best Colleges: 14 Make Forbes List

Two Georgia schools cracked the top 100 on Forbes' "America's Top Colleges List" for 2017, and a total of 14 were among the magazine's rankings of top schools in the South. Emory University came in at No. 66 on the overall list and was No. 9 among colleges in the South. READ MORE.

Fourteen universities in Georgia made Money magazine's ranking of the best education values in the country. The Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta is ranked No. 16, and the University of Georgia in Athens is ranked at No. 62 for best value in the country. READ MORE.

Best Georgia High Schools For 2017: U.S. News And World Report

U.S. News and World Report has crunched the numbers for 2017, releasing its annual list of best high schools in the country, ranking the schools on national and state levels. In Georgia, Columbus High School earned the title of the best high school in the state. Overall, the school ranked among the top 100 best high schools in the country (No. 83). DeKalb School of the Arts ranked second best in the state, followed by Savannah Arts Academy. READ MORE.

Top 100 Elementary Schools In Georgia: Niche.com's 2017 List

Data compiler Niche.com recently released its 2017 list of the best elementary schools in Georgia. Decatur schools swept the top four out of five spots and six of the top 10. Other cities with schools that ranked high include Smyrna, Watkinsville and Suwanee. READ MORE.

Atlanta Public Schools Improve On State CCRPI Scores

Fifty-six schools in Atlanta Public Schools, which amounts to about two-thirds of schools in the district and 23 more than in 2016, showed gains on the state's latest College and Career Ready Performance Index results released by the Georgia Department of Education, the system said. READ MORE.
