Gun Pointed at Georgia Trump Supporter; Three Jailed

A man with a Trump for President yard sign was confronted by three men who uprooted the sign and then threatened him with a gun.

DALTON, GA -- Three men were jailed last week after an argument with a Donald Trump supporter turned violent.

David Grant, 42, is a homeowner in Dalton. He was outside of his home when three young Hispanic men walked by, and one of them allegedly uprooted his "Trump for President" sign in his front yard.

Grant, according to the Washington Times, told the men to replace the sign. One of them allegedly replied, "You’re fixin’ to get a cap popped in your [expletive]." He then pulled out a gun and pointed it at Grant.

Grant's neighbor was also outside, and witnessed the exchange. Grant said his neighbor went inside and returned with a pistol, prompting the three men to flee the scene.

Alexander DeJesus Moreno, 17; Mauricio Rodriguez-Celestino, 18; and Hector Ayala-Perez, 20, were later arrested. Among other charges, all three were charged with violating Georgia’s Criminal Street Gang Act.
