Ellis began her career with big-box banks, working in branch management and, later, in wealth and investment management division, where she specialized in working with attorneys, professional services firms and real estate investors. Moving into community banking, she worked with Private Bank of Buckhead, Georgia Primary and, most recently, The Piedmont Bank.
“I’m always striving to better understand my customers and their individual and business banking goals,” Ellis says, “and enjoy finding creative solutions to their financing needs.”

She is a native Atlantan who attended Greater Atlanta Christian School and graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business with a degree in banking and finance. An avid UGA football fan, Ellis volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta and her daughters’ school. She lives in Roswell with husband David Ellis and their two daughters, who keep them busy with soccer, swimming and ballet. They love escaping to the beach – or Athens – when they can.
Hyperion Bank, founded in 2006, is a full-service community bank “built on valued relationships with its personal and business customers.” Hyperion says it takes community banking to its customers via technology and highly accessible, experienced, enthusiastic bankers who have local decision-making authority.
