It Takes Two to Tango this Valentine's Day at Lanier Islands

Valentine’s Day 2018 Accommodation Packages at Lanier Islands:

· Valentine’s Sweetheart Premium Package – Starting at $289/couple*

The ideal answer for a more intimate escape, following check-in at Legacy Lodge, the experience begins with chocolate-dipped, Grand Marnier injected strawberries and chilled champagne for two served in the couple’s deluxe hotel room. Later in the evening, couples can make their way to Lanier Islands’ tribute to fine dining at Sidney’s Restaurant on the main level of the Lodge. There, they will be treated to a candlelit four-course dinner for two from a specially crafted menu prepared by the Islands’ talented culinary team. In addition to an appetizer, salad and entrée, the meal includes a glass of wine, shareable dessert and something sinfully sweet to take back to the room. The main course features such delectable choices as Seared Grouper a la Oscar, Seafood Risotto, a perfectly prepared Ribeye with Cabernet demi-glace and so much more. In the morning, couples are invited back to Sidney’s Restaurant to enjoy views of the lake paired with a full breakfast buffet. · Valentine’s Couples Getaway – Starting at $239/couple*

For couples who prefer less froufrou and more FUN, this package comes complete with deluxe overnight accommodations at Legacy Lodge for two, including chocolate dipped strawberries, whipped cream and champagne for two upon arrival. When it’s time to dine, Lanier Islands invites couples to head downstairs to its grille and pub at Bullfrogs – where they will be treated to a four-course dinner for two that includes welcome libation, appetizer, salad, entree and a sharable dessert. The main course features such popular items as Atlantic Salmon, Sirloin Steak with Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions, Bruschetta Chicken and Firehouse Ribs. Couples are welcome to reminisce over a few more cocktails by the poolside firepit just outside of Bullfrogs or grab a chilled bottle of wine from the Butler’s Pantry on the main level before returning to their room. The following morning, couples can make their way to Sidney’s for a sumptuous breakfast buffet before closing the book on a great lakeside getaway. To enhance those packages even further, the Islands is offering a number of very special chef-centric events, as well as their wildly popular Kids Night Out option. Valentine’s Weekend Demo and Tasting feature three individual themes on three separate nights led by three of Lanier Islands’ talented chefs – a terrific addition for couples who share a passion for food.
