ATLANTA, GA — Students returned to KIPP Ways Academy in Atlanta Wednesday afternoon after it was evacuated for what was initially believed to be a natural gas leak. Some students had trouble breathing, but no leak was detected and air quality inside the building is safe, authorities said.
WSB-TV reported that firefighters were at the charter school on Temple Street evaluating the situation. Ten children were evaluated by first responders, but none of them required a hospital visit.
