Four for the Books: Quadruplets Make Newnan Hospital History
Babies born on Dec. 16 are the first set of four to be delivered at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
NEWNAN, GA -- A couple recently made medical history at Piedmont Newnan Hospital when quadruplets were born, a first for the facility.
Kortney and Justin Miller beat the odds by having the babies naturally.
“I am doing so much better now that they are here,” Kortney Miller said in a news release. “We are so excited and blessed to have four healthy babies.”

The babies -- originally named A, B, C and D -- were born at 29 weeks on Dec. 16. The biggest baby was 3-pound, 1-ounce Brandon, who came out first at about 1:30 p.m., the hospital said. Then came Brayden, Bryant and Kenlee.

The hospital's "quad squad" began prepping for the bundles of joy when the mother was just 15 weeks pregnant.

“Things could not have gone better,” Dr. Adegboyega Aderibigbe, a neonatologist, was quoted as saying. “Everyone knew what to expect. When the day arrived, we had a few hours’ notice and everything went smoothly, thanks to the ‘quad squad’s’ teamwork.”
And thanks to the Miller family, Coweta County has four more little residents.
