Kroger Launches Delivery Only Pilot Service In Atlanta

ATLANTA, GA — Kroger’s Atlanta Division announced Wednesday the launch of “Kroger Delivery Direct,” a delivery-only pilot service. From today to September 24 customers in select metro Atlanta ZIP codes can take advantage of same-day and next-day delivery windows.

“Kroger Delivery Direct provides another option for customers who prefer same-day home delivery during these unprecedented times,” said Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division in a news release. “We are excited about the opportunity to bring this new service to our customers.”

Currently, Kroger Delivery Direct is available in the following ZIP codes: 30363, 30308, 30307, 30309, 30303, 30313, 30332 and 30306. For a low delivery fee of $4.95, the Kroger Delivery Direct team will bring customers in these ZIP codes what they need, when they need it.

“The safety and security of our customers’ orders is our top priority. Our highly trained team follows strict procedures to ensure that customers will receive the highest quality products in the safest manner possible, including the option for contactless delivery,” Turner said.

Same-day orders must be submitted four hours before the delivery window begins. Kroger Delivery Direct customers will receive $20 off and free delivery of their first order. There is a $35 minimum on all orders. For more information, visit KrogerDeliveryDirect.com.
