GA Coronavirus: All LA Fitness Centers To Close Due To Risk

L.A. Fitness sent an email to members Monday night stating that to protect people against the coronavirus, locations are closed nationwide.

ATLANTA, GA — L.A. Fitness announced immediate closure Monday night nationwide as leaders ask companies to close temporarily to stem the spread of the coronavirus. Members received an email stating that all locations, Atlanta included, will be closed from Monday through at least April 1.

"In order to do our part in the efforts to flatten the curve and impact of this virus, we have made the very difficult decision to close the operations of all our clubs beginning Monday, March 16, until at least April 1, 2020.
The health of our members and employees is paramount, so while we apologize for this inconvenience, we believe it is the right thing to do at this time."

L.A. Fitness said that all memberships will be extended to cover the time the clubs are closed. Active members are encouraged to download their free mobile app to access fitness videos in the Studio Zone link.

Maintenance and janitorial crews will continue to be on duty.
