  1. A thief stole more than $10,000 worth of lawn equipment from an Atlanta front yard. The equipment belonged to a landscaping company that was working at a property in the Buckhead area. The Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating the incident and is advising residents to not chase after suspects. (CBS 46 News)
  2. A toddler at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is the first to receive an altruistic liver transplant performed at the hospital. Ashton suffers from biliary atresia, a rare liver condition, and was placed on the transplant list at six months of age. The hospital hopes to perform a lot more life-saving transplants in the future. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  3. Fly Guy DC, an Atlanta radio personality, gifted 30 mothers a spa day in celebration of Mother's Day. The mothers were selected from over 400 single mothers that were nominated for the giveaway. They received manicures, pedicures, a three-course meal, and a gift arrangement through the experience. (CBS 46 News)
