
Monte Seehorn of Gainesville, GA, was recently inducted into the “Legends of the Fly” Hall of Fame during the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show. The Southern Trout “Legends of the Fly” Hall of Fame recognizes and commemorates southern trout anglers’ historical contributions to fly fishing.
Seehorn is a lifelong fly fisherman and a former U.S. Forest Service coldwater fisheries director. He owns and operates a business that improves trout fishing in privately owned waters such as Dukes Creek and the Soque River in north Georgia.
