Today, youth in Atlanta need their Boys & Girls Club more than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertain and frightening times for the kids and families we serve. They now face greater food insecurity, financial instability, and mental health challenges than ever before, in addition to the stress of social distancing and homeschooling.
With schools closed, thousands of kids in our community are left without a meal or snack to eat. Many kids and teens don’t have access to the technology and homework help they need to keep up at school. Our kids and families are experiencing fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. They are turning to us now more than ever for guidance and hope.

• Providing virtual tutoring and enrichment programs to keep kids on track with schoolwork
• Distributing laptops to teens and assisting them with job, college and scholarship applications
• Continuing our “Youth Development Tips & Tricks” video series giving parents guidance on connecting with and supporting their kids
