The LIFE School Joins Legacy Camp-out

MLK Jr. National Historical Park and Greening Youth Foundation Join Forces

Students from The LIFE School recently participated in Greening Youth's 2019 Legacy Camp-out in the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. Students pitched tents, made campfire s'mores, and heard from Congressman John Lewis and Dr. King's son and daughter. They also hiked through the park, did yoga, and serviced trees with Trees Atlanta.

The Greening Youth Foundation is a Georgia-based not-for-profit organization that engages youth and young adults by connecting them to the outdoors while exposing them to careers in conservation. The LIFE School is a self-directed, project-based high school in Atlanta.
