Lyft Launches in Savannah on Thursday

Lyft will launch in Savannah this on Thursday, June 9,at 12 pm.

Founded in June 2012 by Logan Green and John Zimmer and based in San Francisco, Lyft is a rideshare company available in more than 200 cities. It has more than 315, 000 drivers and over five million passengers nationwide, and from 2015 to 2016, its rides and revenue grew three times year-over-year.

Lyft provides over 11 million rides a month.

Lyft's initial group of local Savannah drivers include a photographer, a yoga teacher, an entrepreneur, and a grad student.
