Man Breaches Security At Atlanta Airport Again
The breach at Hartsfield-Jackson comes weeks after a man in his underwear ran onto a tarmac and climbed onto the wing of a plane.

ATLANTA, GA — For the second time in a matter of weeks, a man has been arrested for breaching the security perimeter at Atlanta's Airport.
Shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Atlanta Police were called to reports of a suspicious person walking along an access road that surrounds the airfield at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. They arrived to find a man, identified as 22-year-old E'Donis T. Andrews, walking in the secured area.
He was arrested without incident, police said, but didn't tell officers how he got inside the secured perimeter. An investigation did not find any apparent breaches in a security fence, police said.

However, Andrews had minor cuts on his body, according to APD, and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was treated at the scene by fire department personnel.

Police and security teams at the airport were working Tuesday afternoon to learn how the breach happened. But, in a statement released by the police department, they defended security at the world's busiest airport.
"There is no higher priority than making sure our passengers, employees and contractors at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport are safe," the statement reads. "Despite the fact that an individual made his way past the perimeter fence, our multi-layered security approach and response worked exactly the way it’s supposed to and immediately mitigated any threat. Officers arrived on the scene within three minutes of getting the call and apprehended the suspect without incident."
The statement said airport security and police have been reviewing perimeter security at Hartsfield-Jackson since a bizarre security breach last month. In that case, a 19-year-old man wearing only underwear allegedly jumped a fence, ran onto a tarmac, leaped onto a plane's wing and pounded on its windows.
The police statement said officials will be making "strong recommendations very soon to further fortify the fencing around the airport."
