Man Shot In Head Behind Truck on Interstate 75
The truck was in a southbound lane of I-75 near downtown Atlanta.
ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta Police are looking for clues after a man was shot in the head behind a truck on Interstate 75 near downtown.
Police said a driver called 911 at about 7 a.m. Sunday after he stopped to offer help and found a man bleeding on the ground behind the trailer of a truck, WGCL-TV reports.
The caller said the man wasn't responsive. EMTs arrived and took the man — who witnesses originally thought had been hit by a car — to Grady Hospital, where he was in critical but stable condition Sunday afternoon.

Police say they found multiple shell casings behind the truck.
Police were not identifying the victim.
