Man Who Rushed Jay-Z, Beyonce Tackled, Arrested
WATCH: At the Atlanta concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, police say the man ran onstage at the end of the show and "made contact" with Jay-Z.

ATLANTA, GA — An man faces criminal charges after he rushed the stage at the Beyonce and Jay-Z concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday and "made contact" with Jay-Z.
As the superstar couple's "On the Road II" tour performance was ending, police say Thomas Maxwell, 26, ran onto the stage and approached Jay-Z. Fan-recorded video of the incident shows onstage dancers and security guards swarming a man as the two walk offstage. (See the video below.)
Atlanta Police Department spokesman Officer Jarius Daugherty said that after Maxwell was stopped, Atlanta Police arrived and issued him a citation for disorderly conduct. He was released, Daugherty said, because it was not believed that Maxwell had touched either Beyonce or Jay-Z.

Daugherty said Maxwell was treated for minor injuries he received while being stopped. No one else was injured, police said.
Afterward, Beyonce's publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, confirmed that neither was hurt in the scuffle.
"Thank you to all the fans for your concern," Noel-Schure wrote on Instagram. "They are fine and looking forward to the show tomorrow."
Beyonce and Jay-Z performed another sold-out show a Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday and next appear Wednesday in Orlando.
