Aiming to keep up with constantly increasing client demands and requests, Atlanta-based MarketNsight continues to expand its markets around the southeast with recent additions in Texas, South Carolina and Georgia.

MarketNsight landed the nation’s Top Two housing markets with the addition of both Houston and Dallas. That was followed by smaller markets in the southeast – the Anderson/Clemson/Seneca area of upstate South Carolina and Valdosta in South Georgia.

“We are basically following where the builders want to go,” said MarketNsight Principal and Chief Analyst John Hunt. “It’s great to be on the pulse of the country’s Top Two markets, and going to some more smaller markets like Upstate South Carolina and South Georgia helps in terms of demand.”

“Right now, there’s just so much demand, but not as much inventory and supply.”

The Anderson/Clemson/Seneca area of South Carolina is definitely appealing for expansion, it being centered around the scenic, beautiful Lake Keowee area. In recent years, more people have moved from the metro suburbs to areas like Upstate South Carolina due to cost, affordability and work flexibility.

The same is true in South Georgia, where D.R. Horton – the nation’s largest homebuilder over the last two decades – is making headway in new residential areas, including the Valdosta market.

“The Greenville-Spartanburg area is a prime example of what is going on around the country today,” Hunt said. “Every city is seeing builders pushing out from the center into more spacious areas. And because you can literally live and work anywhere these days, some people want to live in areas like Upstate South Carolina and Valdosta versus large metropolitan areas.

“That’s a no-brainer.”
