MARTA officials said that trains from the airport aren't making all stops Friday after a person was struck by a train and died.

ATLANTA, GA — MARTA Red and Gold Line trains running from the Airport station are not making stops at Civic Center, North Avenue or Midtown stations, reports WXIA.

According to officials, a person died after getting hit by a train Friday. MARTA Police said the person jumped in front of a moving train at the North Avenue station..

“Due to Police Activity at North Avenue, Trains are running from Airport to Peachtree Ctr & Arts Ctr to North Springs, Arts Ctr to Doraville. Bus bridges are in the process of establishing between Peachtree Ctr & Arts Center.”

The incident is being investigated.
