Massive Blaze Fills Empty Midtown Building: Report
All three floors of a vacant midtown building in Atlanta was covered in fire Monday.
ATLANTA, GA — Midtown Atlanta suffered a massive fire Monday night that began at a vacant building on 12th Street near Peachtree Walk, 11Alive reported.
Atlanta Fire Captain Ronald Slatton told the outlet there was fire on all three floors of the building when firefighters arrived around 8:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire is unknown.

No firefighters were injured, 11Alive reported.
More than 5,000 Georgia Power customers were without power around 9:30 p.m. due to lines being down during the fire attack, the outlet reported.
