Men Who Died In Atlanta Police Chase Identified: Reports

A person who authorities say jumped from the vehicle during the interstate chase Friday has also been identified.

ATLANTA, GA — Two people who died Friday in a police chase on Interstate 85 have been identified by police, according to Atlanta News First.

According to the media outlet, the two people were Broderick Dunn, 22, and Amarion Clotter, 18.

11Alive previously reported Georgia State Patrol attempted to stop a Jeep for speeding on I-85 near Cleveland Avenue when the police chase started.

Fox 5 Atlanta reported the police chase went into the Downtown Connector, ending up in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75/85 near Edgewood Avenue.

The chase continued from I-75 to Interstate 20, where it was reported a trooper pitted the Jeep. Two people were ejected from the car, dying at the scene, reports said.

Atlanta News First reported a person who authorities say jumped from the Jeep was identified by Georgia State Patrol as Montavious Lovejoy.

11Alive reported a weapon was recovered at the scene.
