Mercedes-Benz Honors Heroes With Trees Atlanta Planting Ceremony

The "heroes" will be thanked for their dedication to the community and for their sustainable leadership.

ATLANTA, GA — Mercedes-Benz USA will host a ceremony Wednesday to honor its “Greatness Lives Here” partners for their sustainable leadership.

The “heroes” will be thanked for their dedication to the community with a program, stone markers and a tree planting event. A total of 18 trees will be planted, courtesy of Trees Atlanta.

Mercedes-Benz USA will honor 18 organizations including one founded by a Holocaust survivor who feeds the less fortunate by distributing leftover food from supermarkets and restaurants, a dog lover who leverages canine companionship to change the lives of incarcerated men, the first double-amputee to complete the Ironman, and a couple who uses bikes as a tool for children to build life skills.
