Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Moving Headquarters

The chamber is moving from Centennial Park to 191 Peachtree.

ATLANTA, GA -- The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) is relocating from its current home in Centennial Olympic Park to 191 Peachtree Tower in downtown Atlanta in late 2016. MAC will move more than 75 employees into 25,000 square feet of space in the 50-story skyscraper. The new MAC offices will feature modern design, high-tech enabled workspaces and locally sourced materials.

In March 2016, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) purchased the current MAC building as part of its plan to expand the greenspace and upgrade the user experience of the 21-acre Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.

"While it's bittersweet to give up our longtime home, we are truly excited about GWCCA's plans to expand and upgrade Centennial Olympic Park," said Hala Moddelmog, president and CEO of MAC. "Just like GWCCA is creating a whole new downtown experience, the Chamber is seizing new opportunities as we embark on the next era in our own organization's history."

191 Peachtree Tower features more than 1.2-million square feet at between Andrew Young International Boulevard and Ellis Street and is now 92 percent leased.

"Many of MAC's members and some of metro Atlanta's most iconic companies will be our new neighbors in 191 Peachtree Tower, which provides additional synergy for the many projects and programs we orchestrate together for the good of the region," said Jenner Wood, 2016 MAC chairman of the board and corporate executive vice president, SunTrust Bank.

The new office will also include spaces designed for meetings, functions and Chamber programs, all offering exceptional amenities and breathtaking views of the city. On average, each week MAC hosts approximately 500 members of the Atlanta business community, as well as national and international delegations, in its offices.
