ATLANTA, GA — Missing Clark Atlanta University student, Alexis Crawford, has been found dead, said police Friday. The body was found in a park in DeKalb County off of Columbia Drive more than a week after Crawford was reported missing.
Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields said at a news conference that police are securing arrest warrants for Crawford's 21-year-old roommate, Jordyn Jones, and Jones' boyfriend, 21-year-old Barron Brantley. It was also shared that Crawford had filed a police report on Oct. 27 describing "unwanted kissing and touching" from Brantley.
"The case has come to one of the saddest conclusions possible and has been absolutely heartbreaking," Shields said.
