Dad Of Missing GA Infant Arrested On Unrelated Charges: Report

Authorities are searching for Nnakai Pratt, a missing 6-month-old boy from metro Atlanta. His father has been arrested on unrelated charges.

RIVERDALE, GA — The father of a missing 6-month-old baby boy authorities say was taken from Valley Hill Road was arrested Monday, WXIA-TV reported.

Clayton County Police said Nnakai Pratt was taken around 8:30 a.m. Sunday from the 100 block of Valley Hill.

Antonio Pearce, the child's father, was arrested on unrelated charges, WXIA-TV reported.

Clayton County Jail records showed Pearce was booked into the jail around 4 a.m. Monday on two charges of driving while license suspended/revoked, child restraint violation and possession of marijuana.

Nnakai was taken by unknown suspects who headed in an unknown direction, police said. The infant is 2-feet-1-inch tall, weighs 11 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, police said.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a missing child alert and said Nnakai was last seen wearing a brown onesie.

There were no leads on a possible suspect or vehicle information as of Sunday, police said.
