National Cinema Day 2023: Where To Watch $4 Movies In Georgia

The $4 admission tickets are available for all movies, no matter the format, at participating theaters in Georgia.

GEORGIA — If you still have not seen "Barbie" or "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem," this weekend is your chance to dive into the cinematic world for only $4.

The Second Annual National Cinema Day will be Sunday, when $4 admission tickets for all movies and showtimes will be available. IMAX and 3D movies are included.

The National Association of Theatre Owners' nonprofit, the Cinema Foundation, is hosting the event.

"Its mission is to 'advance the moviegoing experience, by developing future diverse workforces and moviegoing communities through research, education and philanthropy,'" the foundation said on its website.

According to the Associated Press, about 8.1 million people participated in the inaugural National Cinema Day on Sept. 3, 2022, when tickets were $3.

All AMC Theaters are participating in the national day, alongside other theaters, and are offering deals.
