New Details Released In Delta Incident That Injured 17: Report

The Delta flight, traveling from Milan to Atlanta, experienced severe turbulence and caused both passengers and crew members to be injured.

ATLANTA, GA — A National Transportation Safety Board report shows two Delta Air Lines crew members and two passengers were seriously injured in an August incident that also injured 13 others, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said Thursday.

The outlet reported a Delta flight from Milan to Atlanta experienced severe turbulence on Aug. 29, when 11 people were taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Aside from those with serious injuries, eight crew members and five passengers suffered minor injuries, the outlet reported.
