Newnan Infant Death: Mom Gets 17 Years in Prison
Jasmen Nicole Hazelrig was sentenced on Monday in her daughter's death.

NEWNAN, GA -- A woman was sentenced to 17 years in prison in the death of her 4-month-old daughter.
Jasmen Nicole Hazelrigs was sentenced on Monday, reports the Newnan Times Herald, with no chance at probation.
Harmony Breeze Hazelrigs was found dead on Sept. 7, 2015, after a 9-1-1 call was placed from her mother's residence. First responders found the infant blue around the mouth and unresponsive.

Brittany Parker, who lived with Jasmen Hazelrigs for several weeks at her residence, said she and Hazelrigs would often use meth together, leaving their children unsupervised. Hazelrigs' other children -- ages 2 and 4 -- reportedly have tested positive for meth.
