Overnight Blaze Injures 2 In Metro Atlanta

A fire consumed a metro Atlanta house, injuring two people in the blaze, fire officials said.

FOREST PARK, GA — A blaze that sparked overnight has injured two people at a Forest Park home, fire officials said.

The fire ignited around 4 a.m. Monday at a Dunwoody Drive house, WXIA-TV reported. First responders were reportedly called to the scene after neighbors saw the flames.

Forest Park Fire and Emergency Services shared photos depicting the fire consuming the home.

Officials told WAGA-TV that wind contributed to the fire spreading. Of the six people living in the home, a woman jumped from the top floor of the home, the report stated.

The cause of the fire was unknown, as well as the status of those injured.
