Wildfires blaze through GA, destroying nearly 100 homes in its wake. See photos of the fires as first responders race to contain the flames.

More than 30 new wildfires have broken out, claiming nearly 100 homes in Georgia since Saturday.

Firefighters are racing against the clock to contain the flames. Many homeowners are left to pick up the pieces as the fires rage on in south Georgia.

At the Pineland Road fire in Clinch County, about 31,000 acres have been burned and containment is at 10 percent.

While the Brantley County fire has ripped through more than 5,000 acres and was at 15 percent containment along Highway 82 as of Thursday.

While firefighters continue to battle the flames and smoke, Gov. Brian Kemp will tour the affected Brantley area Friday.
