Police Looking For Suspect Who Shot Man In Head Twice

ATLANTA, GA — A man was shot five times just after midnight on Friday and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in serious condition, reports CBS46. Atlanta police are looking for the suspect.

The victim was shot in the head twice, once in the back and in both legs, said authorities, after a verbal altercation. According to police the incident happened on Jones Avenue in northwest Atlanta, near William Boyd Elementary School.

No description of the suspect is available yet.

“We have our investigators on scene collecting evidence. The investigation is ongoing,” said the Atlanta Police Department.
