Trump Discusses 'Black Economic Empowerment' In GA: Livestream
President Trump visited Atlanta Friday afternoon to discuss his plan to help more Black people start businesses.
ATLANTA, GA—President Donald Trump visited Georgia again on Friday afternoon. According to the White House schedule, the president delivered remarks for an event called "Black Economic Empowerment: The Platinum Plan."

This was Trump’s 10th visit to Georgia during his presidency. He landed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base then headed to the Cobb Galleria Centre in Cobb County around 2 p.m. He spoke about his plan to make sure African Americans have equal opportunities to start businesses and earn money, reported WSB.

“Racial justice begins with Joe Biden’s retirement from public life," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution quoted him saying. Trump also unveiled a plan that endorsed the creation of a federal Juneteenth holiday and backed an anti-lynching initiative, making it a federal hate crime.
Trump recently visited Atlanta in July to discuss major transportation projects in the area.

The state is a high-profile battleground for control of the U.S. Senate as well, with both seats on the ballot thanks to a special election to fill the rest of the retired Republican Sen. Johnny Isakson's term and the regularly-scheduled contest for the seat held by Republican Sen. David Perdue.
Polling shows a tight race in all three contests, with the 21-candidate special election likely headed to a runoff between the top two candidates, regardless of party.
