Rapper's Restaurant Sued by Workers Over Back Pay, Overtime: Report
Staff members at Scales 925 allege that T.I. and his business partner violated federal labor law.

ATLANTA -- Rapper T.I. and his business partner are being sued by employees of their restaurant over back pay and other issues, an Atlanta TV station reported Wednesday.
The 12 workers at Scales 925 say they're owed money by Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his partner, Charles Hughes, according to WGCL-TV CBS46. The workers include servers, chefs and a manager.
The workers allege that Harris and Hughes have violated the Fair Labor Standards Act, and say that they've been denied overtime pay and that payroll checks have bounced.

The suit alleges that Scales 925 has never paid payroll taxes, according to CBS46. The rapper and Hughes had not responded to the suit Wednesday, the TV station said.
