Registration Still Open For Thanksgiving Half Marathon & 5K

ATLANTA, GA — Registration is open until 8 p.m. this evening for the 2017 Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia One Mile and 50-meter Dash, hosted by the Atlanta Track Club. It's an Atlanta tradition! Runners and walkers will earn their turkey as they finish their race under Atlanta's iconic Olympic rings.

Stick around for a post-race celebration outside Georgia State Stadium (formerly known as Turner Field). You'll want to bring your medal and your bragging rights to Thanksgiving dinner.

The races begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Georgia State Stadium, 755 Hank Aaron Drive in Atlanta. The races include:

• 13.1 miles (ages 14 & older)
• 5K (ages 8 & older)
• One Mile (ages 7 & older)
• 50-meter Dash (ages 6 & under)
