Saint Leo U-Atlanta Partners With Fulton County Sheriff’s Office

Qualified Employees Receive Tuition Discount For Educational Opportunities

ATLANTA – Saint Leo University’s Atlanta Education Center recently announced a partnership with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office to offer educational opportunities for its employees.

The FCSO is committed to providing education benefits through partnerships. Fulton County is the largest county in the Atlanta metro area.

As a partner, Saint Leo will offer a 10 percent tuition discount for qualified Fulton County Sheriff’s Office employees. The employees also may take advantage of the FCSO’s tuition assistance program.

Saint Leo University offers many of the programs endorsed by Sheriff Theodore “Ted” Jackson including accounting; business administration management; project management; human resource management; criminal justice, computer information systems (information technology); and cybersecurity.

This partnership also will benefit Saint Leo students as it will provide networking opportunities for those students interesting in law enforcement and other civilian jobs with the sheriff’s office, said NaTanya Dowell, associate director of the Atlanta Education Center.

Students enrolled through this partnership will have access to take classes at the Atlanta Education Center and online. Monthly open houses will be conducted at an approved FCSO site to provide guided assistance to their employees.
