Easter Shooting Kills Toddler In Atlanta

An overnight shooting killed a 3-year-old child in Atlanta on Easter, police say.

ATLANTA, GA — A shooting on Easter killed a 3-year-old child around 12:45 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Washington Street Southwest, Atlanta Police said.

Officers found the child suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived. Police said the child was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Police have not identified the child or said what led to the circumstances. Details of a suspected shooter have not been released.
