Spelman, Morehouse Students Out On Bail After Tased On Live TV

The Georgia NAACP is holding a news conference Sunday afternoon with students who were tased and their families to protest police brutality.

ATLANTA, GA — Two college students were captured on camera Saturday night being surrounded by Atlanta police right before they were tased and pulled out of their vehicle. The Georgia NAACP and the JUSTGeorgia Coalition have scheduled a news conference for Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Liberty Plaza to protest against police brutality and address the arrests.

The family members of the two arrested students, a student from Spelman College along with a friend from Morehouse College, will be present. Both students have been released and are reported to be in good condition.

The groups said they will list their demands and call to action. They are using the #WeAreDoneDying hashtag.
