State Farm Arena Hosting Open House On Saturday

State Farm Arena's "Welcome to the Neighborhood" party will give people their first opportunity to experience the newly rebranded arena.

ATLANTA, GA -- The newly renovated and rebranded State Farm Arena is hosting an open house and welcome to the neighborhood party on Saturday, giving people their first chance to see the massive renovations at the former Philips Arena.

In addition to VIP meet and greets with Hawks alumni and local celebrities, fans can see the new additions to the building, including the Topgolf Swing Suites, Zac Brown's Social Club, Hawk Walk Market and the new Front Porch neighborhood highlighted by Killer Mike's S.W.A.G. Shop.

The Atlanta Hawks home opener is Wednesday, Oct. 24, against the Dallas Mavericks.

One of the centerpieces of the renovation is a massive, 360-degree video screen. Upgrades also include four massive corner video boards, plus upper and lower fascia displays, bringing the total square feet of video throughout the arena to 12,000 square feet, 10 times more LED video than the prior arena configuration.

The new Hawks centerhung main videoboard includes 4,477 square feet of active video display, making it one of the three largest in an NBA venue.

Fans seated near the court will experience replays of the live action with two additional LED video displays mounted inside of the structure, each measuring 20-feet wide by 9-feet high, for an additional 360 square feet of active video viewing area.
