Student Accused Of Killing Clark Atlanta Roommate Denied Bond
The roommate accused of killing Clark Atlanta student Alexis Crawford appeared in bond court Thursday.

ATLANTA, GA — A judge denied bond Thursday for the young woman accused of killing Clark Atlanta University student Alexis Crawford. Jordyn Jones is accused of killing her roommate.
She appeared at bond hearing Thursday, reported WSB.
Crawford's roommate and the woman's boyfriend are accused of killing the college senior; the boyfriend also is charged with sodomy. The Clark Atlanta couple were indicted Jan. 31.

Crawford's family reported her missing Nov. 1, two days after they last had communication with her. Her body was found Nov. 8 in a DeKalb County park.
Crawford's roommate, 22-year-old Jordyn Jones, and Jones's boyfriend, 21-year-old Barron Brantley, were indicted for causing Crawford's death by asphyxiation through the use of a garbage bag.

Both suspects were denied bond in November.
According to a court document asking the court to reconsider bond, Jones’ attorney says she has no criminal history other than a misdemeanor, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It also says that she’s connected to the community and isn’t a flight risk.
