Students at Carrington Academy Donate Gifts & Food to Children in Need

Students at three schools worked together to collect gifts to benefit Anchors of Hope Ministries

Students at Carrington Academy in the Atlanta area – including schools in Alpharetta and Cumming – recently donated hundreds of toys and supplies to Anchors of Hope Ministries, an organization that aims to be to be anchors of hope to families affected by cancer, with a focus on childhood cancer. Their goal is to offer families not only financial help in their time of need, but also hope and encouragement. For the past few weeks, students held a gift drive to collect toys, sewing supplies, coats, and clothing for children and families supported by the organization.

In November, the schools also held food drives and collected hundreds of nonperishable foods for North Fulton Community Charities and Meals by Grace. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
